Executive Director, Red Oak Chamber and Industry Association

We are currently seeking a dynamic individual to lead the Red Oak, Iowa area efforts for business and industrial growth.  This person will report to a 10 member non-profit board and will work proactively with public partners including the county board of supervisors and the city council.  This person will also facilitate private partner discussions with existing business and industries with an emphasis on business retention, expansion, recruitment and entrepreneurship.  Grant writing experience will be a plus.  The ideal candidate will have a B.A. and five years relevant economic development experience.  The position requires establishing county residency.  The candidate should have good people skills, written and spoken communication skills and able to manage several projects at once.  A competitive salary will be offered based on education and experience.  Applicants should send a cover letter, resume, salary requirements and references by June 30th to:  Selection Committee, P.O. The Red Oak Ambassadors will meet every Wednesday at 5:30 p.m. at Legion Park to clean-up different sections of Broadway.  ALL volunteers are welcome.
