Red Oak Community Schools:

The Red Oak Community School District will provide opportunities and experiences for all students in a safe, positive learning environment in order that they become functional, lifelong learners who are tolerant, responsible, productive citizens in a global society.

    Pre-K through Third Grades at Inman Elementary
    Fourth & Fifth Grades at Washington Elementary
    Sixth, Seventh and Eighth at Middle School

Southwestern Community College - Red Oak Campus:

Southwestern Community College serves all of the AEA Area XIV, which includes the city of Red Oak and Montgomery County.  Southwestern offers comprehensive programs and services in Art and Sciences, Vocational-Technical Education, Adult and Continuing Education, and Economic Development.

Southwestern Community College serves traditional as well as non-traditional students and prepares them for immediate employment or for transfer to a four-year institution of higher learning.  Credit courses offered in Red Oak include arts & sciences, computer, business, nursing, and electromechanical technology.

Southwestern Community College is certified by the Iowa Department of Education.

Technology Building:

Red Oak provides a 30,000 square foot technology building where courses are offered through Southwestern Community College.  These courses are offered to our citizens and to our community high school students as well as high school students from other communities throughout the area.  In addition, the facility offers four-year college courses through Bellevue University and Buena Vista University.  Approximately 4,500 square feet is dedicated to the use of local industries for training of their personnel.
